C-RAD™ — MyCityPulse’s Content Rating & Distribution system.
Hey There — I’m Jack Dancer!
Official spokes-raccoon of MyCityPulse. Finder of shiny things. Defender of community vibes. Hoodie connoisseur.
Today I’m here to explain something important — but don’t worry, it’s not a boring policy lecture.
Let’s talk about MCP C-RAD™ — MyCityPulse’s Content Rating & Distribution system.
It helps keep our community safe, family-friendly, and focused on real local content.
🤖 How Our AI Helps (Fairly & Without Judgment)
MyCityPulse uses automated moderation tools to review submitted posts and assign a **C-RAD rating**.
The system evaluates the content of a post and determines whether it meets the standards required to appear on the platform.
No favoritism
No bias
No hidden moderation
The goal is simple: keep the community safe, clear, and useful for everyone.
⭐ What C-RAD™ Does
C-RAD stands for **Content Rating & Distribution**.
It is the system MyCityPulse uses to determine whether content can appear on the platform and how it may be shown in the future.
The system helps ensure that posts remain appropriate for a broad local audience while still allowing the platform to evolve over time.
Important: During the current launch phase of MyCityPulse, only **E-rated (Everyone)** content is permitted to be published.
🔵 E — Everyone
This is the only rating currently accepted for publishing on MyCityPulse.
Content rated E must be appropriate for a general public audience and safe to view in workplaces, schools, and family environments.
Examples include:
• Lost pets
• Yard sales
• Local events
• Business promotions
• Community announcements
• For-sale listings
• Local job postings
All approved posts on MyCityPulse must meet this standard.
🟡 L — Limited Distribution (Future Feature)
This category is reserved for content that may be appropriate for adults but not ideal for general public browsing.
Examples could include:
• Mild adult humor
• Nightlife or bar promotions
• Mild language
Current Policy:
Posts receiving an L rating are **not published on MyCityPulse at this time.**
This rating category exists as part of the long-term C-RAD system and may be introduced in the future.
🔴 R — Restricted (Future Feature)
This category is intended for content that may be appropriate only for adults who explicitly choose to view it.
Examples may include:
• Strong language
• Mature discussions
• Certain controversial topics
Current Policy:
R-rated content is **not permitted to be published on MyCityPulse.**
❌ X — Prohibited Content
Content receiving an X rating is not allowed on MyCityPulse.
This includes, but is not limited to:
• Explicit sexual content
• Pornographic images or media
• Hate speech or extremist content
• Graphic violence
• Illegal activity
• Scams or fraudulent listings
• Dangerous or harmful content
Posts that fall into this category will be rejected or removed.
🎛 Platform Standards
At launch, MyCityPulse maintains a **clean, community-safe environment** by allowing only E-rated content to be published.
As the platform grows, additional C-RAD categories may be introduced along with user preference controls.
For now, all visible content follows the same standard: appropriate for everyone.
✍️ Creators Stay in Control
If a post does not meet the required rating standard, the system may:
• Reject the post before publishing
• Request edits or clarification
• Provide guidance on how to adjust the content
This helps ensure the platform stays focused on useful, community-relevant information.
🦝 Jack Dancer’s Final Word
C-RAD helps keep MyCityPulse useful, local, and safe for the entire community.
The system focuses on clear standards so neighbors, businesses, and organizations can share information without noise, spam, or harmful content.
“Stay Pulse-y, my friends.”
